Something surprising happened this day...
On my way back home from church, i only realized after walking for about 20 mins that my hat was missing. (Nothing particularly special about this hat, but it was sold out in store and i have come to love it and literally worn it almost everywhere since i got it)
I was unimpressed as i prayed before walking back to search for it, and you couldn't have imagined the ridiculous look on my friend's face as i prayed.
Regardless, we walked back. 10 mins later, we came to a junction just in time to find a young boy pick the hat and was about walking away with it.
I yelled from across the road 'that's my hat' but his friends yelled back at him 'run with the hat' .It was like a Nollywood scene. Surprisingly, he picked it, walked across the road and gave it to me.
It was only just a hat, but it did teach my friend and i a lesson. God really is interested in every tiny detail of our lives. (Psalm 37:23). If you don't pray for/about something, you simply are leaving it to chance. Who knows, if i hadn't prayed, he simply would have walked away with it and i would have searched relentlessly, or he could have listened to his friends and ran with it. Best believe it's no coincidence i arrived the minute he was about walking away with it.
Pray about everything & don't leave anything to chance.
If God is interested in helping to find an insignificant hat after praying, how much more important requests?
p.s- If you've genuinely prayed in faith, you also have to trust God enough to believe the outcome is his will.
Lots of Love
